The weather is changing around these parts, and with that said different considerations need to be taken into account when choosing attire for going out. In Austin this change is usually not as welcome as it is in other places, and I’ve attempted to transcribe the feeling in lyric form with this original poem…
As summer sun begins to fade
the fall winds breath shall take our shade
and when the leaves pile just so
The sundresses must go
Such a sad scene across the land
the tears fall down from every man
the skirts and dresses cease to flow
The sundresses must go
The winter clothes will come in droves
we’ll lose the rain and wait for snow
The real worst part about the cold?
The sundresses must go
Goodbye swim suits and open toes
The time has passed for skin to show
and its so sad I wrote this poem
The sundresses must go
The sundresses must go i say!
The sundresses must go
The only chance left on this globe’s…
…a stripper ho ex-eskimo!
How do you feel about the weather change?
LMAO… Brilliant!
haha Thank you!
This is funny! I agree though. I also think when people start wearing boots and ugs, jean shorts and tank top should go as well. It’s very interesting how women are O.K. with walking around in their “confused” outfits. Ma’am, are you hot or cold?! Or both?! LOL
